PRE CLASSES will begin on Wednesday, September 10.  If you attended last year, you will be receiving a letter in the mail.  Forms will also be available in the back of church.

 

AFTER FIFTEEN YEARS of service, our parish secretary is leaving the office.  We are accepting resumes, along with letters of recommendation.  You may mail them to the Rectory or drop them by the office.  The deadline to apply for the position is October 1.  Salary and work hours are negotiable.  If you are interested, a job description is available.

 

WE ARE IN NEED of someone for the 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. hour for Eucharistic Adoration on Wednesdays. If you are interested in coming at this time please call Rita Whitbey at 354-5481 or the church office at 354-4181.

 

ST. ELIZABETH CHURCH will have their annual Bazaar on Sunday, September 14.  The meal will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  The price for the meal is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children.  There will also be Bingo, bake sale, silent auction, and kiddie land.  A yard sale will be held on Saturday, September 13, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on Sunday, September 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

ST. BONIFACE CHURCH in New Dixie will have a spaghetti supper on Saturday, September 6, from 4:00 p.m to 7:30 p.m. in the parish hall.  The cost is $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for children.

 

THE SENIOR RESOURCE MINISTRY Committee, sponsored by the Family Life Office, invites seniors, their families, and caregivers to the ninth annual day for seniors on Sunday, September 14, in Morris Hall Chapel at St. John’s Center in Little Rock.  Beginning at 1:00, Mrs. Jimmie Lou Fisher, will offer a presentation on the Senior Issues:  Identity Theft, and Medicare Information.  Mass will follow at 2:30 with Msgr. John O’Donnell.  The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick will be available during Mass.  A light supper will be served following Mass.  Please RSVP to the Family Life Office at 501-664-0340, ext 353.

 

A LIFELINE FOR TROUBLED MARRIAGES-Retrouvaille is a program designed to help heal and renew troubled and hurting marriages.  It is a relationship building program

with the main emphasis on communication between husband and wife.  Separated and divorced couples are also encouraged to attend.  The next Retrouvaille weekend will be
